New Metrics for Success is a collaborative research venture between The University of Melbourne and selected forward-thinking schools to work in partnership to address the meta-problems faced by Australian schools today and in the future.
Teaching in partnership with the Yambirrpa schools
The Melbourne Graduate School of Education's partnership with Yirrkala School provides the opportunity for pre-service teachers to complete a two or four-week, self-funded placement in a remote Homeland Learning Centre in Arnhem Land.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Curricula
The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Curricula Project is a University of Melbourne initiative which aims to empower all teachers to integrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures in their teaching using these curriculum resources that incorporate Indigenous knowledge.
