The Jack Keating Fund Scholarship

MGSE Research students pursuing education policy are encouraged to apply for the Jack Keating Fund Scholarship.

Supported by the Jack Keating Fund Scholarship Committee, this scholarship is awarded to research students whose work is focused on policy  that has the potential to improve equality of opportunity and educational outcomes, and the advancement of social justice.

Policy Paper Opportunity

Note: applications for the policy paper are now closed.

We are delighted to offer financial assistance to support the creation of a policy paper to further education policy research in Australia.

The paper should focus on:

  • Research that has the potential to improve equality of opportunity and educational outcomes, and the advancement of social justice.
  • A ‘wicked question’ faced by Australia's education industry.
  • School level or higher, including the Vocational Education Sector (VET) or Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL).

This opportunity is provided by the Jack Keating Fund Scholarship Committee and The Melbourne Graduate School of Education (MGSE). It is open to University of Melbourne staff and students, as well as people and organisations external to the University.
