This is the website for the Jean Monnet Module: Education Policy in Practice (EPP) - European education policy and national systems, a graduate subject taught at the Melbourne Graduate School of Education at the University of Melbourne. This subject was developed by Dr Gosia Klatt and Dr Stanley Koh building on experiences of the previous subject titled: Education Policy: Study Tour. This Jean Monnet Module has received funding as part of the ERASMUS+ programme of the European Union.
Having the opportunity to reflect critically on how theoretical frameworks manifest in education policy across three diverse international education systems was invaluable. I developed a deeper appreciation for the way in which context shapes comparative studies, and informs research design and policy.
