International Journal of Equity and Innovation in Early Childhood

The IJEIEC aimed to explore and advance early childhood education and thinking about childhood by publishing work that illustrated, extended, inspired and provoked innovative approaches to early childhood education.

About the Journal

The IJEIEC aimed to explore and advance early childhood education and thinking about childhood by publishing work that illustrated, extended, inspired and provoked innovative approaches to early childhood education.

IJEIEC was published by the Equity and Childhood Program in the Youth Research Centre (YRC) since 2011 and previously was published by the Centre for Equity and Innovation in Early Childhood (CEIEC). From 1 May 2011 the YRC ceased accepting new subscriptions to IJEIEC and from 1 January 2013 the YRC ceased accepting subscription renewals. The continuation of IJEIEC was reviewed and it was decided that the 2013 volume would be the final volume published of IJEIEC.

How can I access IJEIEC articles?

The YRC would like to continue to make articles published in IJEIEC available to those interested in equity and social justice in early childhood by allowing readers to purchase and download single articles from IJEIEC or purchase an issue of IJEIEC where all authors have given permission.

Articles or issues that are available for purchase will have a hyperlink on the article title or issue title which will take readers to our online payments system. Single articles will be available for purchase for $10 and single issues for $25. Where no hyperlink is provided these articles are not able to be purchased.

The article I wrote for IJEIEC doesn’t have a hyperlink and I want to make it available for people to access – how can I do this?

Please email us and we can send you the relevant paperwork.

If you are a co-author of an article and have given your permission but your article is not available for purchase it could be that we are waiting on permission from your co-authors.
