Online Publication Discussions Series

There are a range of types of online publication that draw academic work into connection with journalism, creating more accessible publications topical for a broad readership. These include the University’s Pursuit publication, The Conversation, and Columns in PESA Agora.

In this Online Publication Discussions Series, the Research Hub will host events that feature an already published piece from one of these publications, ideally authored by a member of the Research Hub, with the aim of enabling open discussion drawing from the messages contained.

It will be presumed that the publication has been read in advance of the event by those joining the discussion.

These events will be promoted primarily via the Research Hub members.
