Evaluation of the new Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) system
Project Details
The Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority have engaged AERC to conduct a 2-year evaluation of the new Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) system.
Introduced in 2019, the new QCE system aims to deliver high-quality senior secondary curriculum and assessment that prepares students for a range of post-school pathways.
The University of Melbourne is evaluating the effectiveness of the QCE system to ensure it meets the needs of students, teachers and other stakeholders now and in the future.
The evaluation report comprises nearly 200 pages of analysis drawing on stakeholder surveys, school case studies, focus groups, psychometric data and international comparisons.
