AERC serves as an advisor to AI-based educational assessment research in Norway

Professor Therese Hopfenbeck will be advisor on new research study AI-EXCAfL (Artificial Intelligence for Enhanced Cross-disciplinary Assessment for Learning) the next four years, led by Prof Irina Engeness in Norway.

Funded by the Research Council of Norway, this research aims to develop and implement an AI-based assessment technology (FAS) that provides automatic, individually tailored feedback on student writing in four subjects: English, Norwegian, Science, and Social Studies.
