AERC proudly celebrates the publication of a journal article co-authored by scholars from Zhejiang Normal University, together with A/Prof Joshua McGrane and Prof Therese N. Hopfenbeck.

The study found that Generative AI tools, especially when used with suggested prompts, enhanced students’ positive emotions during L2 academic writing but also caused mixed feelings during revision, highlighting the dynamic nature of affective engagement and the need for thoughtful AI integration in writing instruction.
