EdUHK delegation visits FoE to explore research and graduate collaboration
The Assessment & Evaluation Research Centre (AERC) was delighted to be part of the team hosting a visit from The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) at the Faculty of Education, the University of Melbourne.
We were honoured to welcome President Professor John Chi-Kin Lee, Professor Michelle Mingyue Gu (Dean of Graduate School), Professor Philip Hui Li, Assistant Manager Ms. Joyce Kwok, and Assistant Registrar Ms. Teresa Poon.
AERC Senior Research Fellow Dr Zhonghua Zhang has collaborated extensively with Professor Lee on multiple journal articles, including “A multilevel analysis of the impact of a professional learning community, faculty trust in colleagues and collective efficacy on teacher commitment to students”, which has been cited nearly 600 times.
Joining the discussions were Faculty of Education colleagues: Associate Dean (Research) Professor Kate Reynolds; AERC Director Professor Therese N. Hopfenbeck; Professor Russell Cross; and Associate Professor Gavin Slemp.
Our conversations explored exciting opportunities for research collaboration and graduate researcher programs, paving the way for initiatives that will strengthen both institutions and create new pathways for students and researchers.
A wonderful visit and a promising step toward deeper collaboration.
