AERC Welcomes: Dr Keiko Bostwick

AERC is excited to welcome Dr Keiko Bostwick to our team.

Keiko has joined our team at AERC as a Research Fellow. She completed her PhD in Educational Psychology at the University of New South Wales in 2020. Her PhD research was largely focused on students’ and teachers’ motivation, well-being, and academic outcomes.

Prior to joining AERC, Keiko was working as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow on the Culturally Nourishing Schooling project at UNSW, and has focused on understanding the impact of the project on teachers’ culturally responsive teaching beliefs and whole-of-school reform.

Keiko has extensive experience in using quantitative research designs to answer substantive conceptual and practical research questions in education, such as examining: factors that best support students’ motivation to learn and teachers’ motivation to teach, the nomological network of growth-focused motivation, and teachers’ culturally responsive teaching beliefs and how they change over time. Alongside her research works, Keiko is passionate about research translation, impact, and co-designing research protocols with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Communities.

We are thrilled to be working with Keiko.  To read more about Keiko please visit her Find an Expert Page Dr. Keiko C. P. Bostwick.
