2025 AARE Conference Keynote recording available: Skills and Strategies for Successful AI Integration in Educational Settings

Assessment & Evaluation Research Centre (AERC) Director Professor Therese N. Hopfenbeck delivered the keynote address “Skills and Strategies for Successful AI Integration in Educational Settings” at the 2025 Australian Association for Research in Education (AARE) Conference, held from 30 November to 4 December at the University of Newcastle City Campus.

Her keynote examined the role of self-regulated learning and critical thinking in AI-enhanced educational environments, drawing on research from the University of Melbourne and the University of Oxford.
