Collette Tayler Indigenous Education Scholarship
The purpose of this scholarship is to further recognise Indigenous Australians and to support students in endeavours that promote excellent teaching of young Indigenous children, educational leadership and close collaboration with Indigenous leaders and communities.

Jack Keating Fund Scholarship
This scholarship supports research students of the Faculty of Education who are pursuing policy research in the field of education, where the research is likely to impact on greater equality of opportunity and education outcomes and the advancement of social justice.

John and Eric Smyth Travelling Scholarship (Alumni)
The prestigious John and Eric Smyth Travelling Scholarship supports recipients who show potential as a researcher or teacher who, in the opinion of the University, can enrich the teaching profession and the work of the school by study abroad. The Alumni scholarship offers a stipend as well as travel, accommodation and tuition fees (if applicable) for a period of up to two years.

Lochrie Indigenous Australian Education Scholarship
This scholarship supports Indigenous Australian students in the Master of Teaching or undertaking research in Indigenous Education, with up to $6,000 per year over the two-year duration of the course.

Doctoral Research Prize
The Doctoral Research Prize is awarded to the student who submits the most meritorious research thesis in the Philosophy of Education (PhD) during the preceding year.

Dorothy Jean Ineke Scholarship in Education
This scholarship has been established to support students transitioning to a research higher degree.

Freda Cohen Prize
This prize recognises research excellence in the Master of Education. The Freda Cohen Prize was established by Brigadier Harold Edward Cohen, who presented the University with funds in the 1930s, in honour of his wife, Freda.

John Smyth Award
The John Smyth Award is awarded to the student who submits the most meritorious thesis for the degree Doctor of Education in the preceding year.
