I am unwell and/or have an emergency and cannot attend my placement today. What do I do?

When illness or emergencies prevent attendance, Teacher Candidates should telephone the Student Teacher Coordinator or nominated staff member and their Clinical Educator before the teaching day commences.

For absences of 1-3 days, you must fill out a Placement Absence Form on Sonia and arrange your make up days as soon as possible at the end of the placement.

For absences of more than three days, you will need to apply for special consideration.
