Exploring plant awareness in teacher education

This project seeks to explore pre- and in-service educators’ experiences as they design and/or participate in professional learning aimed at developing understanding of curriculum and how gardening can be implemented in schools. For example, participating in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) experiences that aim to build students’ understanding of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals in connection with the important role plants play in the environment and human affairs.
