Associate Professor Lisa McKay-Brown


Keynote Speaker

A/Prof Lisa McKay-Brown is the Associate Dean Diversity and Inclusion at the Faculty of Education, University of Melbourne. Lisa has over 25 years of teaching and leadership experience in a wide range of education settings with a specific focus on the inclusion of students with disability.

Associate Professor Jon Quach


A/Prof Jon Quach is interested in research at the health and education interface. Drawing upon the fundamental understanding that children’s health, development and learning are intrinsically linked, he aims to determine how children's academic outcomes are shaped by common health and development inequities during the early years of primary school, and what interventions can be used within primary schools to address these inequities.

Dr. Sharon Klieve

Sharon Klieve is the Coordinator of the Master of Learning Intervention at the Faculty of Education at the University of Melbourne. Sharon has over 25 years experience working in education, including early intervention, primary, secondary and specialist deaf education settings, and specialist language and literacy practices. Sharon is a dual qualified teacher and Speech-Language Pathologist whilst also holding an additional specialisation as a Teacher of the Deaf.

Anthea Naylor

Anthea Naylor is a member of the Learning Intervention Team at the Melbourne Graduate School of Education. She has many years of experience in teaching both secondary and primary levels in mainstream, independent and special education settings.

Nathalie Parry

Nathalie Parry is a Lecturer for the Learning Intervention Team at the Melbourne Graduate School of Education, Australia. As a specialist teacher, her research and practice are motivated by a desire to understand the opportunities and challenges experienced by people with learning differences.
