Led by A/Prof Lisa McKay-Brown and Prof Kate Reynolds, the Learning Intervention Academic Group brings together outstanding researchers and education experts in inclusive education and educational psychology.
Our community of lecturers and researchers are experts in understanding and implementing interventions to address learning challenges in numeracy, literacy, disability, learning difficulties and mental health. We achieve this through outstanding inter-disciplinary research, graduate programs and professional training in learning science, educational and developmental psychology and learning intervention.
We are at the forefront of knowledge, skills and practice in areas of science of learning (maths, literacy), disability, learning difficulties, neurodiversity, and mental health and well-being which ensures our graduates are equipped to be leaders in their fields.
Our ultimate goal is to improve educational equity, ensuring that all learners have access to effective, evidence-based instructional methods that support their academic and personal development.
