Master of Learning Intervention

The Master of Learning Intervention provides training to teachers and early childhood educators in understanding the learning and support needs of children and young people with disabilities, learning difficulties and hearing loss enrolled in educational settings.

This course is also appropriate for allied health and other education professionals engaged in working with this cohort of children and young people, their families and teachers.

Graduate Certificate in Education (Learning Difficulties)

Gain the skills to better support the needs of students with specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia and dyscalculia. You’ll improve your professional knowledge and understanding of the nature and causes of specific learning difficulties in children.

Enhance your skills in classroom assessment, goal-setting, instructional choices and responsiveness to learning difficulties as you learn how to implement teaching that optimises student learning. Offered Part-time and 100% online so you can balance study with work and other commitments.

Master of Psychology (Educational and Developmental)

One of only four educational psychology courses in the country, the Master of Psychology (Educational and Developmental) will prepare you to work as a registered psychologist supporting individuals with developmental and learning issues.

Suitable for students who want to work in a range of educational settings upon graduation. These settings include being in schools as a psychologist, student counsellor or welfare coordinator. Or within agencies treating children with emotional and behavioural difficulties or aged care.

The accredited course will provide you with valuable skills in counselling, psychological assessment, research methods, intervention, group work, consultation and multidisciplinary team work.
