This week, in collaboration with the Faculty of Education’s Centre for Wellbeing Science, the University of Melbourne signed a new partnership agreement with O.P. Jindal Global University, establishing a dual degree program.

This partnership provides students enrolled in the Jindal Institute of Behavioural Sciences’ Master of Applied Psychology with an opportunity to study for one year in the University of Melbourne’s Master of Applied Positive Psychology. Upon successful completion, students will receive degrees from both institutions.

The dual degree program is designed to equip students with comprehensive expertise in advancing mental well-being and promoting community prosperity, aligning with global trends toward mental health awareness, well-being education, and positive societal impact.

This new collaboration builds on 16 years of partnerships between the University of Melbourne and Indian institutions, further expanding opportunities for Indian students to pursue applied positive psychology—an emerging field in India.
