International Classroom Lexicon Project Event 2021 December

The International Classroom Lexicon Project lecture and book launch was held on Monday 13 December 2021.

Abstract

The International Classroom Lexicon Project, directed by David Clarke, was established to document the professional vocabulary of middle-school mathematics teachers in Australia, Chile, China, the Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Japan, Korea and the United States.

To celebrate the publication of the book from the project, Carmel Mesiti presented a lecture titled "The International Classroom Lexicon Project: Learning from the professional vocabulary of middle school mathematics teachers."

The lecture was followed by a discussion with the editors, Carmel Mesiti, Michèle Artigue, Hilary Hollingsworth and Yiming Cao.
