University of Melbourne is one of the 43 organisations including universities and research agencies to participate in the Athena Swan Charter in Australia, a framework that enables structural and cultural change to achieve gender equity and has been successfully implemented in the UK. In 2020, The University of Melbourne achieved Bronze Award status. We are committed to this initiative and are excited to improve gender equity.
