Project: Pedagogical leadership in early childhood education and care.

Using a post-qualitative approach to inquiry, Rachael’s scholarship draws on new materialisms and feminist posthuman theories to explore how pedagogical leadership can be re-conceptualised beyond static representations of practice in Victorian Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) services. With Deleuze as a thinking companion, Rachael’s research considers how attuning to the habitual and performative materialisation of ethical care arrangements might empower ECEC professionals to find affirmative pathways through the exhilarating and exhausting encounters of the everyday.
