Project: The influence of coaching interactions on early childhood educators' learning.

Coaching is an increasingly popular form of professional learning and development for early childhood educators. However, we know little about what happens during coaching and why it “works”. I aim to improve understanding of these issues by looking in detail at case studies of how coaching unfolds, how it is experienced, and what effect it has. The results may help to identify how coaches can continue to improve their practice, and provide guidance for those designing coaching programs.
