Join us at the inaugural national Abecedarian Approach Australia (3a) symposium. This event will explore the intersection of 3a research, policy and practice and provide an opportunity to share what we have learned and explore future possibilities and priorities for research and practice.
The virtual symposium will enable participants to hear from experts in research and practice on:

  • The original Abecedarian research project
  • Findings from Australian 3a research
  • Embedding local communities’ cultural knowledges and first languages into the elements of 3a at FaFT
  • Leading continuous improvement through a 3a professional learning model

This event is for early childhood educators, community members, policy makers, researchers, 3a practitioners and people interested in learning more about this early learning approach.
The 2021 Abecedarian Approach Australia Symposium is being hosted by the REEaCh Hub at the Melbourne Graduate School of Education, University of Melbourne and the Northern Territory Department of Education.
