Education Policy in Practice
Education Policy in Practice (EDUC90949) is a subject in the Policy in a Global Context specialisation within the Master of Education. However, the subject is open to all Master of Education students.
The course provides the opportunity for practical engagement with education policy issues through placements or structured visits in approved organisations and educational institutions. Students examine education policy and policy reform issues in the context of policy development, implementation and/or evaluation.
Students may select pre-negotiated options or develop an individualised program, which is subject to the approval of the course coordinator.
In 2018, students can take this subject as a staff guided study tour in second semester.
Education Policy in Practice: staff-guided study tour
The staff-guided study tour visits selected schools and education institutions in Singapore and Malaysia over one week in September 2018.
- this is subject to the enrolment of the minimum numbers of participants
- there are additional costs associated with this study tour, including flights, other travel, and accommodation. Further details will become available in Semester 1, 2018.
