Through the four assessment and pedagogy core subjects, you’ll learn how to use assessment results to inform your teaching and improve student learning. Employing the latest research you will learn how to maximise student engagement, and explore the key components of classroom practice and the changing demands on space.

With a focus on collaboration and engagement, this specialisation is for classroom teachers and educators in a variety of learning environments such as universities, vocational education, hospitals or other workplaces.
Upon completion you will be equipped to:
- Design learning experiences which draw on evidence-based research to improve the educational outcomes of students
- Critique, appraise and evaluate significant issues in the design of learning
- Critically evaluate and apply evidence-based research in pedagogy and assessment to inform quality educational design
- Link emerging global, national and local cultural issues to current educational practices.
