How are awards by automatic consideration assessed?

Provided you meet the eligibility for the award you will be automatically considered (i.e. you do not need to apply).  The selection criteria are detailed on the specific award webpage.  Awards by automatic consideration are often determined on academic merit, whereby the student with the highest grades (in a subject, series of subjects or course) is awarded.

If you are the successful recipient for an award by automatic consideration you will be notified by email.  If you have been considered for an award by automatic consideration but are unsuccessful, you will not be notified.  The latest date by which you can expect to notified of a successful outcome is detailed on the scholarship page under ‘when will I know the outcome?’
