Timoci’s background in international development, public health, education and evaluation has led to over ten years experience in conducting research and evaluation projects in the Pacific region, New Zealand, Australia and Southeast Asia. He has broad experience in conducting evaluations and research projects involving diverse populations of different ages, ethnicities, cultural and religious backgrounds and has worked in various settings from community, private, government, NGOs, international aid & development, academia, and philanthropic organisations.
Timoci currently assists in teaching and tutoring masters level subjects at the university including Mixed Methods Research & Evaluation, Qualitative Methods for Evaluation and Health Program Evaluation. He also lectures and coordinates an online postgraduate subject Developing Evaluation Capacity and a face to face undergraduate subject called Relating Health & Learning.
Timoci is pursuing his PhD study exploring use and feedback of evaluative information through information communication technologies
His primary interest and specialist skills include: community development, climate change, pacific health, mixed methods research & evaluation, program development, evaluation capacity building, evaluation influence, feedback methods in evaluation, Information communication technologies in evaluation and teaching.
