In the latest iteration of the Child+Adult Art Response Project, where children artists and adult artists generate visual conversations across time and space, Dr Marnee Watkins and Gina Grant will discuss the conditions inherent in these cross-generational art exchange encounters, where children are positioned as artists with agential empowerment, and more traditional notions of teacher/student power relationships, time, choice, and expectations are disrupted.
