What works in Koorie literacy intervention?

The goal of the Expanded Central Gippsland Koorie Literacy Project was to identify an evidence-based intervention to improve the outcomes of primary students who were at risk in achieving reading outcomes. The project evaluated the efficacy of the High Reliability Literacy Teaching Procedures framework as a means for achieving this goal. As an intervention strategy it was highly successful. The presentation will report the student gains and the professional learning gains that made them possible.
