Professional Staff Redesign: HR Implementation

As you are aware, the University released the final HR change plan in late August. This plan will come into effect from 22 October 2021 and unfortunately the changes mean that Lisle Williams and Terri Hanlon will be leaving MGSE this Friday 15 October 2021.

We are in the process of finalising the appointment of the MGSE embedded HR Business Partner and are pleased to advise that MGSE’s current HR Manager, Paula McAllister will remain in a six-month Deputy HR Director role supporting the new MGSE HR Business Partner and the FBE, MGSE & MLS cluster throughout the transition period. Paula will commence in her new role on Monday 25 October 2021.

We would like to sincerely thank Lisle, Terri and Paula for the tremendous support they have provided over the years to our staff, both professional and academic, and our students.

New appointments

We congratulate Associate Professor Kylie Smith on her appointment as Coordinator, Graduate Research Advisory Committee Chair. Kylie will begin her new position on 18 October 2021.

Additionally, we would like to congratulate Professor Lindsay Oades on his appointment to the Associate Dean International position. Lindsay will begin in this role on 1 January 2022, and Professor Lorraine Graham's term will conclude at that time. We want to express our appreciation to Lorraine for her leadership and contributions as Associate Dean International.
