Revised performance review submission dates

• Academic Staff - Annual and Triennial Reviews should be completed by 31 May 2020.
• Professional Staff - Performance reviews should be completed by the end of March 2020

Academic promotion briefings 2020

Throughout March Professor Richard James, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and Undergraduate) and Professor Nilss Olekalns, President of the Academic Board will present an Academic promotion briefing in the context of the University's Academic Performance Framework.

There will be additional Academic Promotion Briefing Sessions specifically for women academics interested in applying for promotion. Complementing the general sessions, Professor James and Professor Marilys Guillemin will present on the promotion process, specifically with a focus on women applicants. Prospective female promotion applicants are encouraged to attend one of the women's Academic Promotion Briefing Sessions as well as the general University Promotion Briefing Session commensurate to their academic level.

The briefings will be recorded and uploaded to the Academic Careers @ Melbourne webpage (under the 'Promotion' tab) shortly after the briefing session. More information is available on the Academic Careers @ Melbourne page.
