The Research Funding, Costing and Pricing Policy is replacing the Research Pricing Policy (MPF1254) and the Research Funding and Fee for Services Activities Policy (MPF1021) as of 30 March 2020.

This webinar is to announce the policy launch and to showcase the support material developed to support research costing and pricing.

What does the next generation of trans-friendly health care providers look like?

As part of Transgender Day of Visibility, Dr Asiel Adan Sanchez will discuss trans-affirmative care in medical education.

Dr Asiel Adan Sanchez is an academic registrar at the Department of General Practice. They are a medical graduate from The University of Melbourne and completed their medical training in Melbourne’s west, working in emergency, psychiatry, general medicine, obstetrics and pediatrics. Their research focuses on lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer (LGBTIQ) health in medical education. Asiel is a member of the Australasian Society for HIV, Viral Hepatitis and Sexual Health Medicine and has a special interest in HIV medicine, sexual health and trans-affirming healthcare. Asiel is a founding member of Wavelength which is a free open access resource on lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and intersex health for medical students and health professionals.
