Income Statement 2019-2020 ready in myGov

Staff can access Income Statements for 2019-2020 financial year by:

  1. Signing in to your myGov account or creating a myGov account if you don't already have one
  2. Open the Services tab and click on the Australian Taxation Office link
  3. Select the Employment tab and Income statements menu
  4. Select 'Current' to view your income details reported through Single Touch Payroll (STP).

You will need this information to complete your tax return.  For any enquiries please call HR Assist on 9035 4000 or use the online general request form.


Melbourne Academy opportunity for early career academics

The Melbourne Academy program offers opportunities for early career academics to build their knowledge and skills related to the three primary areas of the University: research, teaching and learning, and engagement. It also offers participants opportunities to develop their understanding and appreciation of critical skills required in complex academic institutions, and establish peer networks across the University.

TrainMe: Working from home safely and effectively

There is a now a new module ‘Working from home safely and effectively’ available on TrainME.

This module provides a range of information and resources to assist staff in working from home, from setting up home workspaces to practices to assist with well-being, connection, establishing habits and understanding expectations.

There is also a pdf link at the end of the module to capture all the resources referenced. To access the module go into TrainME>Learning Catalogue and search ‘Working from home’

Managing my work this is a new (3 x 1 hr) webinar, the next  available sessions are on 10, 17, 24 August  from 2-3pm.

This course is designed to equip staff with tools for managing their work effectively and wisely through prioritisation and time management.

Pride in Action Ally Training (pre-requisite completion of LGBTI+ Employee Awareness Briefing) the next session is on 22 September.

To support staff in (re)designing their assessment, the Melbourne CSHE is offering weekly virtual office hours with an assessment expert who will discuss alternative assessment options and answer assessment-related questions. These are curriculum-oriented sessions designed to complement the more technical and design-oriented sessions offered through Learning Environments.
