Program Director (Professional Education)
Dr Lisa McKay-Brown is the successful applicant for the position of Program Director (Professional Education).
In this position, Lisa will work closely with the Associate Dean (Learning & Teaching), other Program Directors, Course Coordinators in the Professional Education Program and members of the Student Experience and Learning & Teaching teams, to ensure the high quality, sustainability and smooth running of the full suite of professional education courses.
Dr Mary Leahy’s term as the Program Director (Professional Education) has now concluded. Lisa has now officially commenced in her new position.
Find your 2019-2020 Income Statement (previously known as Payment Summaries)
In 2020, the Income Statement has replaced the annual PAYG Payment Summary. The University will submit all the details of your Income Statement to the ATO by 14 July 2020 via Single Touch Payroll reporting, as per ATO requirements. The Statement is produced by the ATO and is only available via your myGov account.
You can view your Income Statement for the 2019/2020 financial year in your myGov account. Online access via MyGov is the quick and easy way to obtain your Income Statement.
If you don’t already have a MyGov account, you can create one.
Melbourne Teaching Certificate - now accepting EOIs
The Melbourne Teaching Certificate (MTC) is a professional development program for University of Melbourne staff with teaching-related responsibilities. It is a cohort-based program completed across one semester comprising two seminars, a written assignment and a presentation. This program is suitable for new and experienced academic teaching staff at the University of Melbourne, lecturers and subject coordinators. To participate in the program in Semester 2, please submit an expression of interest by Monday 6 July.
Introduction to PageUp training
The HR Services team provides bi-monthly Introduction to PageUp training sessions for department administrators and hiring managers. TrainMe: Working from home safely and effectively
There is a now a new module ‘Working from home safely and effectively’ available on TrainME.
This module provides a range of information and resources to assist staff in working from home, from setting up home workspaces to practices to assist with well-being, connection, establishing habits and understanding expectations.

Online Q and A sessions on assessment
Date: Tuesdays and Thursdays
To support staff in (re)designing their assessment, the Melbourne CSHE is offering weekly virtual office hours with an assessment expert who will discuss alternative assessment options and answer assessment-related questions. These are curriculum-oriented sessions designed to complement the more technical and design-oriented sessions offered through Learning Environments.
