The Events Calendar is being upgraded, and all calendars that utilise this system will be affected, including the main calendar at events.unimelb.edu.au.

The new platform, to be launched in May, will introduce a new look calendar and new functionality, while retaining most of the standard features of the current calendar. As part of the upgrade a change freeze will be in place for this week. During this week no new events can be submitted to the system - either for display on local sites (such as faculty or department websites) or on the main calendar.

All current users and moderators have been directly contacted about the up-coming changes, but if you need more information please contact events-calendar@unimelb.edu.au.

Embedding student and staff co-creation and shared decision-making in universities

Date: Wednesday 20 May
Time: 12.30pm - 2pm
Venue: Zoom Meeting

Book now

Student and staff partnership has recently captivated many in the higher education sector. As universities strive to attract students, support increasingly diverse cohorts, and fend off new competitors in the market, asking students what they need, and want, is a logical endeavour. And yet, the rationales to embrace student and staff collaboration go beyond sensible business practice. By partnering with students, universities can demonstrate their commitment to community engagement, strengthen relationship-rich learning, and support civic responsibility in their students.
