Changes to leave types in Themis

The 2018 Enterprise Agreement introduces changes to absence types. These changes include renaming existing leave types, decommissioning unused leave types and introducing new unpaid casual leave types. Themis now reflects the new commissioned leave types, changes are summarised in the Quick Reference Guide - Absences.

Personal leave replaces family/sick leave and sick leave. This paid entitlement (15 days per year pro rata, cumulative) remains unchanged and is accrued based on the employee's work pattern. Carer's leave (non-cumulative) replaces family leave. This paid entitlement (5 days per year pro rata, non-cumulative) remains unchanged and is reinstated each year at the employee's anniversary date. Your balance for these leave types is available via Themis Self Service. Other changes include new unpaid leave types for casuals and self service application for Special Studies Program (short).
