Melbourne Centre for the Study of Higher Education, Analyst Andrew Norton. Interview on Triple J Hack. Andrew Norton says the learners profile does have some interesting information which will be useful well beyond university. He points out universities still want to have academic criteria for admission, therefore ATAR is still going to be needed. He points out there are some universities and some courses which are very competitive for entry. He concludes ATAR or some school results still be indispensable for many university courses. Dr Jon Quach interviewed on ABC Radio Sydney about children adapting to daylight saving. Dr Jon Quach says to ask children to shift their body clock. He notes if a child has a specified bed time routine their body starts to naturally feel that sleeping time is approaching. He mentions how many hours children should get sleep.
