Staff information on how to request updates to the FoE intranet and website.
FoE Website
Processes for requesting new web pages or updates to existing content. Before submitting a ticket, please ensure that you have all of the necessary information (e.g., approved content, hyperlinks/URL, documents, etc.).

Request new sites
Complete the UC&M New Website form and provide as much information as possible.

Request page updates
- Copy and paste the page content to a Word Doc, ensuring the page URL is also noted on the top of the Word doc.
- With track changes enabled, make your edits to the content.
- Save and attach the edited document to your ServiceNow ticket and ensure to include the URL of the page to be updated.

Request new page/s
- Provide a path to where the page is to be created.
- Include a short description of the reason for the new page.
- Upload the content to be included, along with any images, to the ServiceNow Request.

Request documents/web-link updates
Documents:
- Attach the updated document to the ServiceNow ticket.
Weblinks:
- Give a brief description of the update. In the additional information field copy and paste the new website link that needs to replace the existing one.

Have you come across intranet content that doesn't look right or needs to be updated?
FoE Courses on Study
Exiting pages:
- Copy and paste the page content to a Word Doc, ensuring the Course page URL is also noted on the top of the Word doc.
- With track changes enabled, make your edits to the content.
- Save and attach the edited document to your ServiceNow ticket and ensure to include the URL of the page to be updated.
New pages:
- Upload a Word document containing the content to be included, along with any images, to the ServiceNow Request. Ensure that all relevant approvals have been obtained and required content is provided.
Web editor training
To be able to access and edit FoE web pages, you will need to complete the University's CMS training.
More information, including the link to register for training can be found on the CMS Author page.
Request access
Once you have completed the CMS training and been notified that your account has been created, you will then need to request access to edit the relevant sites.
Please include the following information in your request:
- Your role;
- the sections you require access to; and
- your manger's name.
