Strong relationships between teachers and students are proven to drive learning and development.

The CLASS (Classroom Assessment Scoring System) is an innovative observation tool designed to objectively assess classroom quality based on teacher-child interactions, developed by the University of Virginia’s Curry School Center for Advanced Study of Teaching and Learning.

This course is ideal for early childhood leaders and mentors who want to use this method to assess and improve teaching quality and foster better social, emotional and academic outcomes for students, as classrooms with higher CLASS scores are proven to do.

The Faculty of Education currently offers two levels of CLASS Observation Training courses: Pre-K and Toddler.
