The 2020 Jenny Leaper Lecture hosted by the REEaCh Hub
In this live webinar held on 30th November 2020, Associate Professor Tricia Eadie and Dr Penny Levickis presented findings from online survey and focus group research conducted with early childhood educators working in settings across Australia, and with parents in Victoria during the COVID-19 restrictions.
Key findings were discussed in relation to: supporting the wellbeing of ECEC educators and parents during the pandemic; communication and supports provided by ECEC services; and the learnings to carry forward beyond the pandemic to better support ECEC educators’ wellbeing and parents’ engagement with ECEC services. The webinar was opened by Dean of the Melbourne Graduate School of Education, Professor Jim Watterston, and closed by Jenny Leaper.
