All DEd and Masters by research candidates who commenced in 2011 or later and PhD, Master of Psychology/PhD, and MPhil students are required to make a public presentation of their research findings at the University prior to submitting their thesis for examination. These students should refer to the completion seminar guidelines on how to prepare for the Seminar.
For DEd and Masters by research candidates who commenced before 2011 it is still invaluable to share research findings with others and to invite feedback. We encourage all candidates to discuss with their supervisors the possibility of publicly presenting their work and the way they would like to approach this – whether at a department seminar, to a selected group or as a formal Completion Seminar.
To advertise the event to staff and students via the MGSE News and the MGSE Graduate Student Bulletin, the student or supervisor can email a short abstract, the name of the candidate, degree, date, time, and venue to firstname.lastname@example.org.
