ARC Discovery Project grant success

Congratulations to Professor David Clarke and his team, who have been successful in two Australian Research Council (ARC) Discovery Project grants, commencing in 2017:  

  • Learning from Lessons: International study of mathematics teacher learning, with professors Doug Clarke, Australian Catholic University, Yiming Cao, Beijing Normal University and Andrea Peter-Koop, Bielefeld University, and
  • Social Essentials of Learning: Collaborative Learning in Australia & China, with Yiming Cao, Beijing Normal University.

A total of $1.165 million was awarded to the Graduate School, while the University received $26.7 million in total for the Discovery Projects, and over $44 million across all ARC grants.

Well done again to Professor Clarke and our colleagues across the University, this outstanding achievement further highlights the importance education research, something we should all take pride in.
