TEDx presentation by Lea Waters
Part inspiring and talented educator, part disruptor and champion for change and part advocate for the power of positivity, Professor Lea Waters is fervently passionate about all things psychology.
Drawing upon her role as Director of the Positive Psychology Centre at The University of Melbourne, Lea has been imparting insights into the benefits of positive psychology to schools, corporates, not for profits and individuals for the past 19 years.
Lea believes that positive psychology is about more than just promoting happiness. It seeks to enhance wellbeing by encouraging accomplishment, healthy relationships and positive emotions.
In addition to her position at The University of Melbourne, Lea is the Gerry Higgins Chair of Positive Psychology at the Melbourne Graduate School of Education, a registered psychologist (AHPRA), full member of the Australian Psychological Society and the APS College of Organisational Psychologists.
Lea is internationally recognised for her research and has published and presented all over the globe.
