Education in Germany and Australia

Professor Stephen Dinham was recently awarded a Richard von Weizsäcker Fellowship of the Robert Bosch Academy in Germany. He spent three months in Germany in late 2014-early 2015 visiting schools, universities and various government departments and talking with educators, relevant ministers, officials and other key stakeholders involved with education and allied areas.

In this seminar he will share his observations on current education governance, organisation, policy, development and performance in Germany and contrast these with Australia, with a view to considering the best ways forward for each country.

The seminar is repeated on two occasions.
