Recent changes in higher education have highlighted the need to engage university students in the process of “learning how to learn”, and as a result, academics are increasingly being asked to teach academic skills and integrity alongside disciplinary knowledge. However, in addressing this task, we are faced with a serious challenge: how can we make the learning of what is often perceived as technical and even dry content more relevant and engaging for our students?

This talk will showcase a recent innovative approach to fostering students’ understanding of academic integrity - ‘FAIR: From Academic Integrity to Responsibility’ - that makes use of mobile and web content development platforms to deliver a timely, interactive, and personalised learning experience to students.

This seminar is part of the Innovations in Teaching and Learning seminar series.
